Business, know-how, sports and events relating to horses – these are the four cornerstones on which the Horse Competence Center Germany (HCCG) is based. Under the claim “Horse Competence in Practice and Research”, scientific consulting, events and project management are offered on these topics.
„Combining horsepower - transporting knowledge“
The goal of the HCCG is to promote the demand for services and products in the horse industry, to optimize the transfer of knowledge from science to business and to network the relevant service providers from the region. Thus, a holistically acting central contact point is created in the heart of a horse-loving region!
The HCCG is located on the former Osthoff manor near Osnabrück. In addition to modern stables, training grounds and extensive pastures for the four-legged friends, multifunctional seminar and conference rooms as well as guest apartments are available for inquisitive two-legged friends. Thus, a unique infrastructure for research and events has been created here around the topic of horses.
Four competent partners launched the HCCG in July 2012. For six years, the HCCG was managed under the Science to Business GmbH – Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. In January 2019, the Horse Competence Center Germany GmbH was founded.
